Happy New Year 2017

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that 2017 is great year for everyone.

This is my make today over on the That's Crafty! blog.  It cane out of a journal page which had a nasty accident, a sort of metaphor for hoping 2017 is brighter and better than the nasty accident that was 2016 lol.

Shimmer Wall Hanging

Last week Leonie Pujol premiered two new That’s Crafty! Acrylic shapes on her “Let Leonie Loose” programme on Hochanda.  I was lucky enough to make a sample using a pack of the rectangle and a pack of the square Wall Hanging.  This is fantastically easy to make. For more details do pop over to the That's Crafty! blog.

Here Come the Girls

Christmas in September

The new That’s Crafty! Challenge is Christmas in September.  Last year That’s Crafty! had a Christmas themed challenge and I made a little blue hanging so this year I’ve gone for the more traditional green, gold and red.  The canvas is 4 x 4 and features Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst spray, a Prima stencil, stickles and a wooden tree which has been dipped in Ultra Thick Embossing Powder and over stamped to get a deep impression.  If you would like to see what the rest of the DT have done and for details of how you could win a £20 Gift Voucher just pop over to the Challenge blog.
