Tranistions 1
I have been playing with the abstract form, based on theidea of the point of transition between one thing and another, for instance the land and sea, the sea and sky, light and dark and so on. I leave it to you to decide what is happening in this piece. This is my first piece using lots of Liquitex texture paste, Golden acrylic paints and touches of Pan Pastels. I am entering this into these challenges

Glitz and Glam
The challenge at That's Crafty is All That Glitters. The problem for me using glitters is that as I use them so rarely when I do I kind of go a bit mad, hence 3 pieces here as one entry. Each piece has a vintage image placed in a bezel with added stickles goodness, attached is a jewel comprising a smaller bezel also filled with stickles, both are then filled and domed with Ice Resin.

A Bottle of Alice
The lovely people at Paper Artsy have challenged us to use bottle in our work, I have taken a smallish bottle maybe 6 inches tall, painted it to look a bit rusty and verdigris and added Treasure Gold wax for sheen, and a range of charms to give it an Alice in Wonderland feel, including a PA House stamp (for Alic's house) an Alice and a Queen of Hearts on shrink plastic, (not used it for years and it is fun). Also a watch (for the rabbit) a teapot (for the Mad Hatter) a tiny bottle of ominous blue liquid marked Drink Me and a little rabbit in a playing card tabard for the game of croquet.
Shabby Olivia
The challenge at Country View Crafts for June is Shabby Chic and the Stampotique Designers Challenge is to use your favorite stamp. So I've gone a bit old school and made a shabby chic card featuring Olivia from Stampotique Originals in a die cut frame tripple embossed in gold and stamped into, mounted on a backing with texture paste used through a stencil, lots of Glimmer Mists and stamping of text and swirls, and Trasure Wax for highlights.
