Do That

Black and White with a hint of ...............

The current challenge over at the That's Crafty Challenge Blog  asks for projects to be black and white with just a hint of colour.  The challenge runs until 7.55 am on Friday 4th December and there is a £20 Gift Voucher to spend in the That's Crafty shop to be won.

Sunset ATC

This is my DT make today over at That's Crafty.  For this I wanted to achieve a sense of those late summer sunsets where the sky turns shades of turquoise and orange.   I stamped the bird on the white ATC in black.  I mixed the cosmic shimmer pigments with matt medium to create a rich paint rather like acrylic paint but with a shimmer and painted the colours in behind the bird.  A final edging with the black paint ad a flick over with watery black paint and its done.   Very quick and fuss free.

Zombie Santa Tag

Shimmer Butterflies
