Go Figure
Go Figure is the new challenge at That's Crafty, so just use numbers somewhere in your work. My make is based on measurement and comes from the quote on the Prima Butterfly stamps by Finnabair "If your dreams do not scare youthey are not big enough". My tag is of course on of those ultra sturdy Thats Crafty MDF tags, with Lindy's Stamp Gang "Whale Watching Blue" and Sea Grass Green Magicals from the Nantucket Pearls range mixed with water and painted with some flicks of "Hibiscus Rose" spray. The Butterflies are stamped and hand cut from paper which was sprayed with Lindy's "Yellow Rose of Texas", "Hibiscus Rose" and "Bonjour Butter" sprays using the Crafters Workshop Flower Frenzy stencil. So for a chance to win a £20 Gift Voucher pop over to the blog for more details on how to enter.

Transitions
This is my make today over on the That's Crafty Blog, it is an abstract painting which forms part of a series I
have been working on about “transitions” the point or process where one thing
becomes another light to dark / land to sea / child to adult etc. One of the things I really like about
abstract is that although I know exactly what I was thinking and trying to
communicate in the painting each person who sees it will see something
different and everyone’s view is
right.
Know who you are
I celebrated a birthday this
week. I always find birthdays are a time
for reflection and as I get increasingly older the more comfortable I feel just
being me, the more I accept I am only a very tiny thing in the universe and
what I do or don’t is not that important
in the grand scheme of things and the
more I come to terms with the limits which result from living with a chronic
illness so here is a journal page which for me reflects that. This is my Monday make over on the That's Crafty DT Blog, pop over for all the details of how I made it.

Happy Easter
everybody and today I have a sort of chocolate themed make for my DT post over at That's Crafty today in that I have altered
a box which originally held chocolates. I’ve
gone for a shabby chic feel for my box.
Spring Flower
Having been promised a mini heat wave this weekend we had had grey skies, miserable cold and rain so I thought a little cheeriness was needed hence my bright spring flower, it is my make this week on the That's Crafty DT blog. I’ve used Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magicals, DecoArt Modelling Paste and a Donna Downey Big Peony Blossom stencil to make a card. For all the details visit the That's Crafty blog.
