Angelic Arch

There is  very exciting news today, That’s Crafty is launching loads of new crafty wonderfulness live on Hochanda, where the fabulous Lauren Hatwell will be demoing this fun stuff and sharing how she uses it t make gorgeous things.   You can watch on Hochanda live at 10am, 1pm and 6pm, or  Hochanda Catch Up or pop over to the shop to see the new products.  As part of the celebration I am sharing a project I made using the new That’s Crafty! Distressed Crackle Frame

The crackle finish on this frame was born out of an accident while working on something else.  I was trying to imitate Andy Skinner's mega crackle but created instead mega distressed crackle and I like it so did it again on purpose to check it worked and I like the result.  For full details pop over to the That's Crafty! blog

Clearly Artt ATC

This is my make today over at the That's Crafty! blog. 

For this ATC I wanted a lot of transparency, so there is no background at all.  

I stamped my images on the front but coloured them in on the reverse which stops the alcohol ink affecting the stamped image.  

I used the stencil with paint to add the word Art. Quick, easy but I think effective.

Feminine

Summer Rain

This is my make today over at the That's Crafty! blog.

So to be honest this is not a new make, I started it quite some time ago one afternoon with a group of crafty friends and I just completed it.  We were inspired by an article in a magazine but unfortunately I do not know now who was the original author, my apologies.  That person had created a similar canvas with a night theme but I went for a rainy summer day – so about right on target I think for this summer.  It of course uses one of my favorite things Ten Seconds Studio metals.
